Dr. Yamada is extremely friendly, fast and personable. He explains everything to you in depth and helps you understand what he is going to do. His root canal procedure was quick and painless. I healed quickly without any long lasting pain. I highly recommend him!

My wife visited here for a root canal. While the procedure went well, the behavior of Dr. Yamada was on the borderline of harassment. My wife was not comfortable around his presence. We will not ever be going back.

I have now been to Dr. Yamada twice for a problem tooth and both times he has given me very informed and helpful information about what is going on and what the best course of action is. In both cases he recommended I not get a root canal because I did not have the signs of needing one, and as such he has saved me quite a great deal of money. He and his staff have always been very personal and accommodating and I highly recommend him!

I had an awful experience with Dr. Yamada. Unfortunately, I was confused by the good reviews on Yelp and let him do the root canal procedure for my tooth in 2014. The tooth was very sensitive to even gentle biting and Dr. Yamada said that this should go away in a month or so, but there were no changes in 1 month, 2 months, 5 months… I came to their office again and asked to do something. Dr. Yamada admitted that the root canal was not done ideally and proposed to redo it free of charge. After the procedure he was satisfied with X-rays and again said that the pain is to go away completely in 1-2 months. The second procedure indeed had some effect - the previous issue didn't bother me anymore. Unfortunately, I got a new one - pushing on the tooth from the front side caused a pain. Sometimes I stopped feeling that pain for a few days, but sometimes it started hurting me too badly. After no improvement in next 6 months I came to Dr. Yamada's office again. He confirmed that he sees no issues with how the procedure was done and recommended rinsing the mouth with Chlorhexidine for a month and, if it doesn't help, I should visit him again for a gum surgery.
